What Should I Expect with Implant-Supported Dentures?
Before treatment, Dr. Boettcher will complete a thorough dental exam, including digital x-rays, to assess the strength of your jawbone and gums. If your jawbone or gums are too weak to accept the dental implants, a gum and/or bone graft can be performed. Once the area has healed and is sufficiently dense, you can have implant surgery.
Local anesthesia will be administered to numb your mouth before the procedure. Sedation options can be considered if the process is lengthy or you need it to feel comfortable.
